| I came across this pub by luck and ventured in there on a Friday evening on my way home for a few drinks and a meal. It's has been taken over by a Keith & Anita around October 2011 and they have stamped their own individual style on the pub. Keith does the cooking and it ranges from pub grup to other 'specials' plus he makes alot of it himself...I know I sampled it! I was impressed overall as I like real ale, he keeps the beer to a high quality. I waited to post this comment until I went there again but this time for Sunday lunch with 3 friends. They remembered me and I found the service really good and although it's in a lovely village it is well used but with the food menu quality and beer as good as this I'm not surprised. They have a quiz night on Monday's which apparently are good fun to go to so I may post another comment if I get time to venture down there. P.S.
