Expensive . Dirty glasses . Moody staff Chuck73ds - 7 Apr 2012 16:41 |
Not as busy as most other places at London Bridge on a sunny Friday evening, and we were able to get an table (albeit sticky). Was pleased to find Doombar amongst the large selection of continental beers, so a point for that. However, didn't taste like Doombar which I know and love. In fact, it didn't taste of much at all. Beer prices around average for the area, clientele all pretty dressed up, and suspect the comments about dubious toilet activities are because you can nip in the side door and down the stairs to the bogs without any fear of being collared for not buying a drink. Much better pubs within a couple of minutes' walk. duchyjim - 12 May 2011 09:45 |
If you work in an open plan office and find Dave from Accounts' jokes funny, you will love All Bar One at London Bridge. As for the tramps collective attending to their rectal hygeine in the facilities, I saw no first hand evidence of this. The beer was ok but the rest was monochrome. The bar equivalent of M People. terenced - 25 Jun 2010 13:34 |
I popped into here as I had a 20 minute wait for a train and I needed a tom tit. Trap one was acceptable, but trap two needed a new lock and I think that at some point a gang of tramps may have been washing their bottoms in the sinks. Strongers - 27 Oct 2009 12:23 |
Not really my sort of place, and only went there because the nearby Oast House inside London Bridge station had completely run out of all draught ales and lagers (and I didn't have the time to walk any further)! I won't bother to describe the place because it is just like any other All Bar One, but I was slightly surprised at the prices (which were generally in the 3.00 to 3.20 range which is pretty cheap for central London these days). No real ale, of course, but an impressive array of shiny fonts dispensing a wide range of fizzy liquids. rpadam - 12 Sep 2009 17:24 |
