| Range of well kept local ales, we tried 3 over 3 visits, but the Hebriddean strong ale was a clear favourite! Great staff, a credit to the place, but they did struggle on the evening we ate in the dining room. Food quality was mixed, the scallops starter and salmon main were very good (I think the chef deserves a chance to prove themself!) and very reasonably priced, but other dishes were not so good and veg poor. | Good selection of local ales, plus friendly service. The only downside here appears to be the food, which has gone downhill since our last trip last year...half the menu turned out to be unavailable, and the food that was available wasn't cooked particularly well.
