Recently revamped as the Station, an American 'jazz bar'. Decor is best described as 'mid-Atlantic whimsy'.The emphasis in the main area is on food, but there is a small side bar, which is very comfortable and cosy. Food seems rather on the expensive side, given that it is not in the town centre. GK beers and guest ales. Regis - 18 Dec 2013 17:06 |
Nothing much to say about this pub unless you want to eat there, because its mainly a restaurant more than a pub, small bar area with 2 ales on when I visited. Two things to note it was freeing in the bar like someone had left the cellar, the windows and all the doors open and there were 4 mini stools at the side bar area, very strange. I won't be rushing back even if I'm waiting for a train at the nearby station. lezford - 6 Mar 2011 19:09 |
Pleasant enough pub opposite the railway station. GK, but also does guest ales and food. Large and secluded beer garden. Regis - 1 Jun 2010 14:17 |
