| This place really emphasizes its food and portions are certainly copious. A pie was, as so often these days, nothing of the sort but a casserole with a pastry lid although the interior of chicken and tarragon was pleasing. It's a Greene King joint so the ales are a predictable range and the location is on a remote lane to the west of Abingdon.
