| Great location, nice old bar as part of largish busy hotel owned by Beaulieu Estate, pint of real ale was pretty good, average price for these days, didn't eat but the cod and chips looked lovely and good for �10. I go here for an ocassional pint when walking from Beaulieu just up the river, but seeing the cod makes me think next time I will try it. | Superb grounds and location. Pub-side highly indifferent in every other respect. Can't comment on food nor accommodation as did not stay nor dine. If not where it was, I wouldn't trouble it further. grovetown - 28 Jun 2010 17:19 |
