| The Roebuck was our final pub of the day. It was supposed to be our first. But we arrived shortly after 2pm on a Saturday to find it already closed for the afternoon. It re-opened at 6pm and the reason for its closure soon became apparent. This is mainly a foodie pub, where there is a decent ale selection. But this is mostly for the diners.
