Closed in Spring 2015 and the premises are now boarded up. Beermole - 31 Dec 2015 19:55 |
Friendly landlord, friendly bar staff, can be a liitle bit dead in the week but very lively at weekends. Yes this is a gay pub but anyone comfortable in their own sexuality will enjoy it.........chelsea greg, mcroyal and Lord Jason, are you all curious but afraid to admit it or just completely ignorant and a waste of oxygen?; the former I would wager....that means the first one lads! Beer is good, massive selection of spirits and liquers, good pool table, juke box expensive boot a good selection of music. All in all, not the best gaybar I've been in but certainly not the worst, worth a visit whether your'e gay or straight! Thebeernecesseties - 15 Jun 2011 08:48 |
Well this place has certainly changed, the previously drab interior is now much improved, staff are friendly and attentive and a good selection of drinks with offers. Only criticism is the Saturday DJ was less than engaging, having said that the atmosphere was great. I don't know if there are new owners but there has certainly been a few changes since I was there a couple of years ago. cg705070gl - 25 May 2010 11:55 |
Truly awful; avoid like the plague.. fender100 - 5 May 2010 17:23 |
The old landlord has departed and so sadly has the beer quality. It was down to one ropey pint of Shepherd Neame when I went in the other night. Quinno - 13 Jul 2009 21:04 |
