| A nice looking pub both inside and out with a traditional feel. It has a rather unusual off licence style shop adjoined to it something that i didn't expect to find in such a town. It was however a total rip off for the drinks and it is all down to the evils of Heavitree brewery. My wifes wine was digusting as well although my pint of Carling was good (£7.40 for both!). I was paying these kind of prices at the Anchor at cockwood earlier in the day and at least you get a lovely view and setting there! 4/10 Won't be back montie49 - 23 Jun 2013 12:58 |
