Closed and up for sale or lease. If this ever opens again as a pub the landlord will have to go some to beat the Snug...hands down the best place in the area. lezford - 5 Oct 2014 15:17 |
Stayed here recently, room dirty and smelled awful, possibly due to a history of smokers yuk!! Beer : no handpulled ale all keg , cheap enough thou and friendly. Food, remarkable value. Carnforth is a desert, not worth visiting for anything but the Station and just go thru that. you'll thank me for it. mineisalandlord - 12 Sep 2010 09:25 |
Good old fashioned pub, in the old skool category. Good craic, and friendly locals make this pub a great place to pop in on your way through town. There is a good secure carpark to the back, a friendly landlord and landlady, and beer isn't too expensive. Quite a cosy pub, popular with the locals and not bad at all. jc1979 - 15 Jul 2010 21:57 |
