Forgot to mention, Llanbedr is a closer station, only about 0.5 mile a request stop but trains are only every two hours. ellisref - 10 Jun 2018 08:33 |
A week away (Tues, Wed & Thurs evenings) pub in the centre of the village where we were staying, hence the number of visits. However, the hotel (Ty Mawr) also needs inclusion). Timeless Robinsons pub by a bridge over the stream with a small stone floored (ex-public bar) where our dog was allowed in - a requirement of the week- much larger smart lounge and accommodation and fair sized garden with covered seating. Usual range of Robinson's beers, I stuck with the Unicorn which was good, had food on one night, good value. ellisref - 10 Jun 2018 08:31 |
A pretty good menu and good Robinsons beer. Psi - 8 Sep 2011 09:48 |
Excellent Robinsons pub, offering something to all types of customers. The younger village residents tend to meet in the small Settle (public) bar, named after a venerable piece of furniture, with its old stone-flagged floor and dartboard. Older customers seem to prefer the larger lounge bar which has been extended to form a dining area. Outside there is a large covered terrace (with heating and lighting) and a very pleasant beer garden and childrens play area for the odd day when it happens not to be raining in North Wales! Three real ales - Unicorn, Double Hop and a first class Bizzy Bee Summer Ale at 2.60. rpadam - 12 Aug 2010 21:19 |
