| Off the beaten track between Scarborough & Whitby this was a must tick from the GBG as I was in the area. Extremely large hotel with the bar in front of you as you enter with 2 further dining rooms and a games room on the way to the toilets. Rustic decoration inside and outside. Large seating area and an even bigger garden. Interesting furniture made of horseshoes. Now onto the beer. 3 ales on cask along with Black Sheep Best Bitter @ 3.8% on keg which was my option, very good it was too. The wife had a York Guzzler on cask and that was excellent apparently.
