I should also have said that this is now called the Corner Bar. blue_scrumpy - 4 Feb 2018 19:17 |
Was here yesterday. It was probably the worst pub I tried out of 12. There's handpulls, but no real ale. The keg choice was Meantime London Lager, Strongbow, Brooklyn Lager, Whitstable Bay Pale Ale, Camden Hells Lager, Stella Artois, Tetley's Extra Cold, San Miguel, Guinness, Fosters & Carlsberg. The highlight of my visit was watching a 2 horse race for a 3 mile steeplechase! blue_scrumpy - 4 Feb 2018 19:17 |
If you find yourself in the nearby Thistle Hotel it might take you as much as 30 seconds to walk across the road to this perfect local London pub. Excellent beer (the Tim Taylors as good as it gets), very welcoming friendly Landlady and equally friendly local clientele. Pubs like this are heart and soul of communities. I can be a miserable and cynical git, but 2 hours here restored my faith in mankind vic_boner - 27 Mar 2015 00:08 |
