Another classic looking pub - nothing remarkable but friendly welcome and typical pub interior. Bass in fine condition. Visit blogged at http://bit.ly/2O9rRfy Mappiman - 23 Jul 2018 13:01 |
Another friendly Burton on Trent pub. Nothing special just comfortable and a good range of mainstream ales. The Bass was OK,but one doesnot expect too much from Bass nowadays. Theskstons Old Peculier very well kept considering it is some way from home. Before you catch the train good place to visit. oldandmild - 24 Jun 2017 06:54 |
Decent enough boozer with draft Bass, always a god reason for going into a pub Wilson_MacDonald - 2 Feb 2017 15:59 |
Was speaking to the landlord of this boozer in the Devonshire Arms (lovely boozer) what a nice bloke. As the Roebuck is right by the station thought I`d pop in. It`s a community type pub, juke box, sport, real ales. Unspectacular but worth popping into for a couple before getting the rattler. Blastbeat - 13 Jan 2017 08:38 |
Pedigree, Abbott, Directors. What is this - JDW? Come on, try a bit harder, and while you're at it have a word with the "Don't worry, we're all ignorant" crowd hanging around the bar. Yes, you are. The beer was okay and the place was busy early on a Saturday evening so they must be doing something right but there are much better pubs nearby. djw - 1 Nov 2014 23:55 |
