| Unfortunately a recent management change doesn't seem to be for the best. New landlord is friendly and has tried to change a few things, but the result is that the place seems to have lost what it had. I've been in several times since the change and it's always been quiet. It seems a lot less personal now, like people are just customers, whereas before, it seemed like everyone, staff and customers alike were all friends. shame really. hope it rediscovers that atmosphere buzzbee - 28 Dec 2011 21:54 |
| This pub used to be great but after a recent visit I noticed that the atmosphere had changed and there was new management. The pub now does food but the beer quality is not as good as it used to be and whilst the prices were a bit more than than others in the area I never mind paying extra because of the quality, service and friendliness. The new landlord seems okay and seems to be trying to make changes but not to my liking and judging from how quiet the pub was it seems that I am not alone. | Friendly welcome from the landlady, Justina, who is good fun. This pub has a large screen at each end of the pub. They have various types of entertainment, such as discos, karaokes and quizzes. | If you want a clean crisp pint this is your place. The best pint in Bracknell and served by good friendly staff in an iced glass with a variety of newspapers availabl to read. Location isnt great and its a bit out of the way but it is my haven. petejon - 10 Aug 2010 18:16 |
