Visited today to an empty pub. It was so very cold in there I think this may be part of the reason. Drinks are expensive here and they do not even fill the pint to the top! Poor show. delpus - 12 Feb 2019 14:04 |
I am extremely sorry that you experienced this miceman. I assume that this was today? We are a community pub and as such welcome families, however, we do have a policy of children not sitting at the bar and children should be under parental control. I am not sure what happened on this occasion but it will be rectified. Many thanks for drawing it to our attention. TheVolunteer - 19 Jan 2013 21:07 |
The new management evidently wants to run a kindergarten so if you like to see toddlers on the bar stools and rolling on the floor this is the place for you. miceman - 19 Jan 2013 14:12 |
Went in one weekday lunchtime. Not very busy but quality of the ale (Fullers - Bengal Lancer) was fine and food very nice if a little expensive. Very nice environment. I would come back for a drink at least. Beer_Spotter - 26 Nov 2012 15:21 |
Nice looking place. Large beer garden, which unfortunately overlooks the car park and housing estate on one side (could to with some screening bushes/shrobs/Leylandii!!) Fullers, so you know what you're getting beer-wise. Reasonable nick - I tend to stick to Chiswick. Their summer ale is a bit dull though, to be honest. New manager ? Seem like a friendly bloke, and staff are efficient and pleasant. Upton_Parker - 14 Sep 2012 16:47 |
