| This was the first of 3 pubs I visited in Staines on Thursday night. It was the only remaining pub in Staines that I hadn't been to that served real ale. But London Pride was the only ale. The pub is now Indian-owned and they appear to serve Indian meals. Locals provide the entertainment here. The sight of middle-aged women trying to do the splits in the centre of the bar was mildly amusing. Disappointing though. | Really nice, comfortable, friendly pub. It's been done up to a high standard and has a reasonably priced menu with a good range of food on it (including several veggie things). A good place for a quiet drink - we've been back several times! Daisies - 12 Mar 2010 15:27 |
