Small pub located on a side street behind the Willow Grove, on our visit the other Sunday it was karaoke night and the place was quite full. Served promptly, only one real ale on, Robinson's 'Bonjeoros' which was quite nice

Visisted in October 2014. Small bar which very much gives the impression of being for locals. Having braved it I found that all in there were very friendly.

No ale on offer but the Carling was ok and priced at £2.50 a pint.

Randomly about 8pm a large dish of paella and fresh bread was produced on a table and available for all to share.

Back-street boozer up a small side street in the town centre. it's quite small, with one horseshoe bar with a room around it, and a raised area towards the front. It's recently converted to real ale, and has two handpumps, usually selling beers from the Moorhouses range. Unfortunately only Pendle Witch's Brew was available on my visit and it had just gone- although I prefer being told this rather than being given a bad pint. Had a Guinness instead which was fine.
It shows sports and seems to attract a local, older clientele.
Probably better pubs nearby but it's not too bad.

Recently changed hands and they have altered the old system of happy hour until 7.00 pm.This has alienated many people and I can only see disaster for this pub. Why do people want to change things that worked well before ?
