| Heard bad things about this place after it first opened. Highly impressed now having been here several times following the "gastropubification" of nearby Tudor Rose, Inside is clean, warm and welcoming. | This is more a restaurant than a pub, but for all that the beer is OK. Unfortunately however the food isn't. Cheap and nasty pretty much summed up my meal. Tasteless rotisserie chicken with a tiny amount of BBQ sauce attempting to bring it to life but failing, limp salad and cold chips. My partner had new potatoes and a couple of them weren't cooked properly and the vegetables were overcooked and soggy. People on the table behind us were complaining to staff about the quality of their food as well so it seemed to be normal on the night we were in.
