| After reading various positive reviews I took my parents here for the sunday roast. The meat was dry and everything on my plate was presented so that you couldn't see the burned side. | This is a great pub for those who may need gluten free options - staff are very accommodating and use gluten free flours for a lot of the menu. Staff are very friendly and the pub has a good selection of wines and great for lunch options. Also does special deals. Boojum - 4 Jul 2010 18:31 |
| Good food & well kept ales. Friendly staff. This is something of a destination pub as is on a small windy road between Shaw & Cold Ash, but a good place to walk to. Probably not somewhere to go if you just want a drink, but there is a nice beer garden in the summer.
