Bar maids were lovely but literally 8 chavs all around 18 years old were sat in a row at the bar trying to be intimidating Should be a good pub in such an affluent area but too many idiots appear from somewhere and spoil the place wooser - 15 Apr 2022 14:06 |

Overall a nice pub, best avoided on match day if want quiet drink. Always somewhere to sit outside and service good - good pint of Cornish Coaster had. Nice friendly local jeffandstack - 26 Sep 2011 12:26 |
Somebody was asking me the otherday which pub I would recommend if going to the Rugby. After some thought once again I was drawn back to my old favourite. I know the central twickenham pubs draw the crowds but how bigger crowd do you need on a match day. I mean you can not get closer to the ground. I thought after spouting on about the pub I should probably post my thoughts for others to see. So if you are a looking for a pub with the feel of your local you need not look further. Popped in for a quick pint and a spot of lunch in my lunch hour last week. Beer was good quality and the food was priced well. Would recommend to others looking to avoid franchised style pubs. lustforlife - 21 Jul 2009 11:01 |
