| Disappointing. This used to be an excellent pub with fantastic food (and lots of it) but now it just doesn't quite cut the mustard. Although food is locally sourced the steak we had was not cooked as requested. Beer fair - Greene King usuals so nothing to write home about. | Food is really good and reasonably priced, quite up-market but a really friendly atmosphere. Vegetarian choices are good, offers a wide range of food on the whole of really good quality. Lovely interior and an absolutely amazing beer garden for the summer, plus a huge play area, good lunch menu too. | Lovely pub in a very nice villiage, haven't tried the food yet will do soon later this month, for those who are vegitarian there is a big range of vegitarian food available, only down side was the coke i had was a bit to waterey. Carl1982 - 2 Sep 2005 16:22 |
