| This is a brand new build pub next to the new Premier Travel Inn, it�s one of the Table Table chain. It�s so new you can smell it, it�s quite nicely done in a plastic chain bar sort of way, although some of the pictures are pretty good. If you�ve been in one of these places before then you�ve effectively been here as well. It�s a very large place totally aimed at diners, but drinkers are reasonably well catered for, although there�s no lounge style seating, its all dining tables. There are two handpumps on the bar selling Pedigree and Banks�s Bitter. The Pedigree was a very reasonable �2.45 for the city centre and tasted OK if a little cold. There are several big screen TVs around the place showing Sky Sports News along with a Quiz machine. There�s also a large outdoor seating area with fantastic views of the back of the station and the main road. I won�t be visiting again, but I�ve been in a lot worse. ROBCamra - 6 Oct 2009 08:57 |
