bog standard pub with a crap range of tasteless beers and a menu full of extremely greasey junk food. Bar staff and rather rude, short and curt with people, snatching the money out of your hand, etc. On the postive side, it's cheaper than average, and in the summer sitting on the tables outside can be nice. Can't recommend it overall though, the Preston 10 minutes away offers a far better pub experience. Fenriz - 5 Jun 2015 16:11 |
An okay pub, in an area that seems devoid of decent pubs. I called in on a quiet Sunday evening. Two casks - one London Pride plus a cider. Large smokers' paradise outside the front. alexw - 6 Jul 2014 22:01 |
Been in there twice now, both for Chelsea games. All they want is to rip you off. Not enough staff on, no beer just lager or more lager. Charging £5.00 a pint They will never see at least six of us after today. shed16 - 15 Apr 2013 00:24 |
Had a really bad experience with this pub. Manager was very rude to us when they got our food order wrong and refused to give us a refund. Would not recommend this pub. nshepher - 14 Jun 2012 13:52 |
absoloutly heaving before football, 1/2 hour to get served. 10 deep around the bar. security on the entrance will check your bags for beers you are smuggling in, but not your pockets for hip flasks ;) the atmosphere is great inside and out when full of fans, very noisey, but waiting 1/2 hour for a pint is a pain the arse. the location of the pub means you get to walk straight down wembley way on the way out which is good too. cant imagine its great during the week, but football days its a good laugh.
