A hotel bar feel with a mixed clientele of tourists from 4 x 4 drivers to cyclists. Ale was okay. anonymous - 13 Jun 2016 17:03 |
Still a solid performer but perhaps a bit lacking (it's too corporate) when compared to the absolutely fantastic competition in Settle and Giggleswick. Now has a nice coffee counter that I used every day of our holiday. So a 7/10. Old_King_Cole - 10 Nov 2015 22:00 |
If you come here to eat, I implore you to eat the Settle Pudding. I would say its one of the best meals out I have had. The beer is none to shabby either, with a good collection of Thwaites. The lancaster bomber was the pick. The service was pretty hopeless for diners. They were just too busy. No sweet offered and a long queue to pay the bill. All said, a fine pub - with stunning food. I wont forget it. Mappiman - 1 Nov 2014 22:29 |
Unfortunately you can't stop progress and in this lovely hotel / pub the separate and traditional dining room has been lost. also the menu has been jazzed up. The beers still good though and that's what counts yeah? Old_King_Cole - 23 Oct 2014 19:44 |
Good pub. Always have some good beers on. Food is excellent. Wonderful interior. Great atmosphere. How pubs should be! wooly2708 - 5 Aug 2010 00:13 |
