My partner and I always eat and drink here when we are in London. Food and service are excellent. natashaabc - 27 Sep 2009 19:47 |
I have not been to the one in Belgravia, but it sounds similar. It feels exclusive and plush as you walk in, but is well hidden - down the alley next to Dirty Dick's in Bishopsgate. The beer is not that expensive and there is a good selection of scotch - as well as cigars, if that floats your boat. Barstaff are cordial, and can be friendly on a good night. They serve decent beer - Spitfire is my choice - and at a reasonable price for central London. Definitely worth a visit. Oh, and if you feel like splashing out the restaurant downstairs is very good, but quite expensive. If you are a little flush, a good place to take a date and impress.
