What a gem, came here with a group of friends for a quick drink and stayed all evening. The pub itself is very typical of Sam Smiths pubs, the barmaid made us feel so welcome,i dont think she ever stopped smiling.Watching the food arrive made our stomaches rumble, good wholesome english grub and so reasonably priced,we will definately be back to eat. Anyone looking for somewhere to meet friends and relax this is your place Itsonme - 26 Feb 2010 19:52 |
Pub which is within crawling distance of the Dover Castle. This is almost just as good with decent beer and staff, one particularly friendly barmaid who chatted to us for about an hour even though I had never met her before! Very cosy in Winter, cool and refreshing in the Summer there are times that I could stay here all day. Very useful for Harley Street, Marylebone High Street and for spotting Lennox Lewis dining in his favourite restaurant down the road. Oakman100 - 14 Oct 2009 12:17 |
We came across this pub on a pub crawl and keep going back. The management and bar staff are great - really friendly - and always make us welcome when we drop in - and remember what we drink! Regulars seem nice too - very laid back. Lovely atmosphere and seating outside for us ciggie fans. Chessy - 1 Oct 2009 13:50 |

After initial scepticism this place has grown on me. Although it is tiny and it feels like everyone's eavesdropping on your conversation, the decor is fantastic, it really is a lovely place to sit. No cask OBB though. ChrisP87 - 11 Jan 2009 09:57 |
