Called in on Saturday lunch as part of a group of cyclists. Made to feel welcome by bar staff who allowed us to take bikes through pub to beer garden at back. Service good and there was a good choice of food. One of group had TT Landlord and that seemed to slip down very easily. Rest of us were using non-alcoholic means of rehydration. Would happily come back again to sample more of menu, and also the beers

Visited as part of the Welland Valley Beer Festival, so difficult to know what it is like normally, but like many on the day, a place that seemed a good place to drink.
Like others, this was set in a village location.
The beer festival area was situated in the front car park and made for a great atmosphere with a superb choice of ale and cider on offer.
The pub inside is split into a number of rooms, including a wooden decked area which overlooks the valley.
Appeared to be a good pub,but not sure if there normal range of real ales would satisfy some.

Nice enough pub in a Welland Valley village. The car park was full, apparently with cars left behind from inebriated customers the night before. So they must be doing something right! The ale selection was fairly ordinary - Marstons Pedigree, Timothy Taylor Landlord & Bass. Locas were discussing politics in the bar, whilst others were enjoying Sunday lunch in the restaurant. The food smelt good. The pub is part of the Welland Valley festival in June.

Excellent food, atmosphere and terraced area. I will have to make this a more regular stop as I only live 10 miles away and passed it everyday going too and from work, was not really aware it was there as it is very tucked away. Real ale is very good
