| infinityxtx & Jacobs - I have been in this pub.....once. I was taken here by a colleague who wanted to show me what a dreadful place Croxteth is. Fortunately he has moved to a much better area and so no longer has to visit this place. The pub itself served eurofiz and keg beer and the locals were far from welcoming. As for the shooting outside, this was reported by the Liverpool Daily Post and Liverpool Echo. And as for 'all he does is leave negative reviews', I have reviewed over 100 pubs and made few negative comments. Read them. | I have been in this pub several times and although I am not what you would call a regular I certainly agree with one of the comments that they are nothing but friendly and welcoming. I have children and they were made to feel very welcome, the drinks are reasonably priced and trust me, the area itself mat have a bad repiutation but this is pure myth. There is no trouble around this place and I would strongly reccomemd you visit and see for yourself. As the other review states, the person who left the negative review probably never set foot in the place when you look at his history. | Obviously this idiot who left the above review has NEVER in his or her life set foot inside The Lobster pub. I am a local having lived in the area for some time I can assure you that the above users comments are completely and factually inaccurate. I regularly drink in this Public House and I can honestly state without hesitation that this is one of the friendliest pubs I have visited. Most people in the pub are on fist name terms and the landlords are extremely friendly. Like any Public House where alcohol is served you will always get the odd issue but I have never witnessed one. The beer is good, the staff are friendly and the place is cheap, what more do you want! They are even child friendly and I have taken my 2 young children in the pub. This is by no means a "gang hideout" and I just wish comments like the above could be removed because if anyone doubts my honesty in reviewing the Lobster Public House then just click on the user who left the horrid comments and isn�t it odd that all he does is leave negative pub reviews!?!!??
