| Recently spent a week's holiday near Upottery and found this pub to be so welcoming and friendly that every evening was spent sitting out front over several pints of superb Otter Ale. | Recently went to the Pub which now has new owners and was really impressed by the welcome I was given, the staff are extremley friendly and make you feel like " a regular". Had an excellent meal which was extremley well presented and I am looking forward to returning, hopefully when they have finished the refurbishment upstairs we will be able to saty. Having been to numerous pubs for meals etc whilst traveling I have no hesitation in saying that this is one of the friendliest I have been to with food of an extrodinarily high standard and the Otter Ale is devine. christom - 27 Feb 2010 10:27 |
| New people took over here and are really making their mark. Otter Ale is excellent and there is always another guest ale. Food is excellent with large portions. Good outside sitting area just off a quiet road. Worth the short trip off A30 (Ilminster to Honiton) spammy - 28 Jun 2009 19:26 |
