What a total dump. Maybe it has changed hands. Dropped in one rainy Monday afternoon for a quick pint having seen relatively high score in BITE. No beer pumps visible, no one serving except a surly and rude bloke on his phone. Avoid this place - there are several really friendly pubs in Wimborne to spend your money in instead. keystone - 28 Jan 2013 14:34 |
Really friendly landlord. Good beer, and beer garden. Not eaten there yet. My mark will increase if the food is good. headstandking - 25 May 2009 12:11 |
Got an almost antique feel to it. Bar staff seemed friendly and the beer was acceptable. Good Pub clarkey_cat - 10 Jul 2008 11:51 |
decent enough pint of ringwood, beer garden to rear but lacks in seats n benches, 7/10 fat_beer_badger - 25 May 2008 14:59 |
This pub is awesome - amazing real ales and a wide variety of draft lager available. i understand the lines are cleaned every week which makes for a fresh pint everytime. The staff are extremely friendly, and the landlord understands his customer needs, hence it is more of a liquid establishment. Having said that the simple food that is sold, is all homemade and no one does a meaner steak and ale pie than the in-house cook. delicatepallette - 27 Mar 2008 21:00 |
