| Deceptively large pub in a small village, popular with locals, and specialising in good quality home produced food. The manager has turned this pub round since taking over, and has returned the pub to being a focal point for the community. There is usually a good crowd of people eating here, both lunchtimes and weekends, and the food is generally of good quality at mid-range prices - the carvery at the weekend is especially popular.
