| Pleasant 3 room village pub tied to Thwaites of Blackburn. Three pulls with Wainwright and Original, the third was empty but presumably might serve Bomber occasionally. Thwaites kegs plus Wartsteiner, and a cider. Quiet but friendly place, the beer was a little lacklustre but then it is Thwaites. Traditional comfortable furnishing, plain walls with some old photos of the village and locality, public-ish bar with open fire as you enter, a dining type room to the right and another bar at the back with a pool table. anonymous - 13 Jun 2009 12:55 |
