| A proper old school boozer. A great place to go to avoid the Taff Street Rambos on a Saturday night. Hilight of the year in Ponty is the Xmas carol singing in the "Llan" on the last Sunday before Xmas. Just don't be too shocked at what happens when " 5 gold rings" is being sung :) Grat beer, nice locals, good atmosphere. | Proper old boys pub. Two ales on - one usually local welsh and the other a guest ale. Plenty of atmosphere - even if you're under 60 and not welsh the regulars are friendly and accommodating. Easy to be surrounded by a Friday night singsong in here... pjprior - 17 Aug 2009 16:00 |
