| Walked 50 minutes to get here being the nearest pub from the Prees branch of the canal. Landlord was very helpful in organising a taxi for us on the way back so we ate their as well. Food was good and the beer was well kept (if unexciting) so well worth the walk. maybe - 6 May 2013 10:25 |
| Lovely decoration with cosy open fire and comfy seating. The food is great. The sunday dinner are the best around shropshire (better than the combermere arms) and absolutely massive portions! i dont think it too over priced as the food is quality. The lunch menu is great providing a light bites option and the puddings are fab, with the recipes on a black board. Friendly staff. | This pub has just reopened and is somewhat a tadge sterile. Nicely decorated I guess with a patio area, however something missing - food good enough if not a little pricey mind. May be better in a couple of months. ThePrincess - 3 Jul 2010 19:08 |
