| This pub was closed for almost a year until mid year 2015. Now being rescued by a new owner. There is a dog friendly Snug bar and a separate main restaurant area, FREE WIFI and loads of FREE parking. The food is really, really good (great home made pies, fish and chips, chicken curry, lots of high quality steaks - all reasonably priced. They currently open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner - its good to be able to take the dog with you for a pie and a pint! They serve Black Sheep, Yorkshire Lager, Prava, Stella and Stella Cidre as well as Guinness Surger and occasionally have some hand-pulled real ales The new owner says if customer volumes pick up, they will get more guest beers in, so hopefully the people of Harrogate, Wetherby and Knaresborough will rally round and support the pub. geegeewiz - 8 Dec 2016 12:56 |
