| As you walk in the entrance, the door to the left leads to the pub, the door to the right to the Queens Head Tandoori. Its a brilliant pub. I had a pint of Taylors Landlord and while my chauffeur had a soft drink. There was a steady stream of people having a quick drink whilst waiting for their takeaway from next door. Seems like a good community local with lots of darts and pool trophies. Enormous peanut machine. So we gave the Restaurant a try. I ordered another pint of Landlord which was brought through from the pub. Excellant Indian food at reasonable prices. My wife said it was the best she'd ever had. Kirkby Malzeard is a village on the edge of the dales about 5 miles from Ripon. The other pub in the village (The Henry Jenkins Inn) also has cask ales. Thats me in the photo.
