| The Admiral Owen enjoys a lovely location near to the town's toll bridge. To my surprise, there were 2 unusual ales on handpull - Ripple Steam Best Bitter & Canterbury Ales The Wife Of Bath's Ale. I read that they also should have had some key keg ales too. But I didn't notice them. The building is 15th century. But the interior is a touch more modern. | Would loved to have tried this, but it was closed on May bank holiday Sunday! Sign said reopening Tuesday May 8 at 3 pm - i.e. after May bank holiday weekend. There must be a good reason for not opening on a bank holiday - I hope mjbea1 - 8 May 2012 09:58 |
