| This is a two level pub that has been opened up into one large room. The lower level has a pool table, table football, a big screen and a quiz machine. The upper section has red, velvet covered seating along with some high tables. The front part of the room has regimental shields on the wall along with loads of pictures of Shrewsbury in flood. There are also a number of caricatures over the bar. There are lots of handpumps but most were doubled up. On tap were Draught Bass, Worthington bitter, M&B Mild plus London Pride. I had a pint of the Bass which was pretty good. It�s an OK pub that I�ve called in on a couple of occasions when in this part of Shrewsbury. ROBCamra - 12 Jun 2009 14:39 |
