Food centred pub in Dales village near Harrogate. Service always excellent and food generally very good value and quality. Fixed price menus particularly good value for money. Tasty beer; usually Daleside and Black Sheep. Strongly recommended overall Exiledai - 3 Jan 2011 21:25 |
Ale is quite good and I agree with anonymous about the service. exercitusx - 7 May 2010 19:00 |
Posh looking, food led, stone built pub opposite church and school in a small village. Interior is brewers tudor and reminiscent of a certain type of hotel. Excellent ale from local brewer Daleside plus Wells Bombardier and the usual bulk beers. Food is excellent, fresh, and mid priced making the place popular with ladies who lunch and middle aged couples but not exclusively so. Service is professional and friendly. Close enough to Harrogate to attract bored conference goers and lunching exec's. anonymous - 30 May 2009 10:25 |
