tuesday 29th march 20011 .from the front the restaurant is not much to look at ,me and my partner were not sure weather to go in . but we are glad we did...... firstly The chefs special notices outside looked great and it was this that persuaded us to go in .Inside the dinning area is very nicely decorated with a warm feel .we were greeted by a female hostess at the bar and were shown to a table and given 2 choices of menu and a wine menu. we both chose from the chefs special menu and we were not disappointed. dishes were of very high standards, we had beef carppaccio which was a great size and flavoursome , for our main course we had sea bass . again perfect size , taste and presentation 10/10. we will be dinning here again and hopefully our friends too Shaz6969 - 29 Mar 2011 21:35 |
This is a hotel bar that has signs outside boasting of showing any sport upon request. I walked in early on a Saturday evening a while ago and ordered a half of Stella to drink whilst catching the last ten minutes of an Arsenal game. I was served a pint and after paying the barman informed me that the Sky wasnt working. I ended up watching 9 minutes (yes I counted) of Victorian Farm before leaving most of my whiffy pint and making a hasty retreat. As I left I couldnt help thinking that I had just been robbed, hence Ill not be going back here again. Strongers - 7 Apr 2009 10:16 |
