user reviews of the Old Oak, West Kensington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A proper doss house full of chancers. Keep you eye on your jacket. phone etc. When you go to the bog they will drink your beer.

Unpleasant in the extremes. How it survives I will never know. The nearby Clarence is much more preferable.

Previous reviews sum this up, one of three boozers in a row on this side of the road (the Elm, this and the Clarence) and the Seven Stars opposite, no real ale or anything else much come to that.

Stumbled in here randomly after taking a break from the GBBF at Earl's Court - this is a scruffy locals' pub with no real ale or redeeming futures. We drank up quickly and left.

This is an unspectacular locals boozer with no real ale and only the usual suspects on draught. The Guinness was good and the barman was friendly enough, but I found the clientele in the Clarence a few doors away to be much friendlier to the weary traveller.

I would walk past if in the area again.
