A proper doss house full of chancers. Keep you eye on your jacket. phone etc. When you go to the bog they will drink your beer. nowthenourkid - 4 Nov 2016 21:37 |
Unpleasant in the extremes. How it survives I will never know. The nearby Clarence is much more preferable. Mr.Raffles - 30 Oct 2012 20:21 |
Previous reviews sum this up, one of three boozers in a row on this side of the road (the Elm, this and the Clarence) and the Seven Stars opposite, no real ale or anything else much come to that. rainlight - 24 Dec 2009 17:34 |
Stumbled in here randomly after taking a break from the GBBF at Earl's Court - this is a scruffy locals' pub with no real ale or redeeming futures. We drank up quickly and left. pubcollector - 9 Aug 2009 17:42 |
This is an unspectacular locals boozer with no real ale and only the usual suspects on draught. The Guinness was good and the barman was friendly enough, but I found the clientele in the Clarence a few doors away to be much friendlier to the weary traveller. I would walk past if in the area again. Strongers - 7 Apr 2009 08:11 |
