| Although the pub has been reburbished at some point, it seemed to be fairly tasteful which was a relief. A really good selection of 5 cask ales from local/regional brewers; the two I tried were good. | I get the impression that the place has had a makeover since the last review. There were several ales including Wainwrights and Sharps, kept well. The atmosphere was lively and across the age ranges. There is also a fine restaurant area with proper service. We ate there and the food was imaginative, varied, high quality and good value.
