I used to really enjoy this place. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. I was shortchanged at the bar and rudely treated when I asked for the correct change!! Staff training is the phrase that springs to mind ... Davethedrink - 24 Nov 2011 19:50 |
I have just spent a disappointing evening at Jerusalem. The start, middle and end were ruined by the abrasive door staff. Once past his rude greeting, you're in and enjoying a drink, only for him to disturb you by physically wedging you between two chunky tables without warning! The evening wouldn't be complete without some verbal, sexist abuse as you leave - a tripple whammy of offensiveness. The toilets smelled really bad too. I would not recommend this bar. loob - 13 Jan 2011 23:46 |
Ok, if you want a decent pub this isn't it. Print a voucher for a cheap bottle of wine. Clearly shit but attracts the clientele it deserves. GuideDogSaint - 22 Jan 2010 23:56 |
This place just doesn't work for me; I guess the temptation to go in is based on firstly, the late licence and secondly, you pretty much always get a seat. However, it's far too dark, too loud, and the tables are those really long ones (so you and your friends are all spaced out). Add all this up, throw in the candlelight, and personally I just fall asleep in the place (i.e. it kills the night out). Also too expensive. lennie384 - 8 Jan 2010 06:36 |
Great place if you like really over-priced drinks, a bouncer ordering you to have your money ready and someone, who I presume was the manager, telling you off for being in the 'secret garden' when you've wandered through an open door to get there. Avoid. swizz - 9 Jul 2009 02:27 |
