| Housed in the Ripon Spa Hotel on the road to Pateley Bridge just on the edge of the city centre, the bar is a single stored pavillion like extension with a separate entrance from the car park. Comfortable and tastefully decorated dining room but non dining drinkers are welcome. Muted horse racing theme. Two handpumps but only one in use serving well kept Theakstons Best Bitter, standard S&N keg line up of 1664, Fosters, Strongbow, Guinness, etc. Hotel bar prices for the beer, i.e. add 40 or 50 pence per pint to pub prices.
