Pretty much the same as a year ago, polite helpful staff; pub is popular with all ages. Beers I partook of were Sambrooks Brewery 'Junction' [dark tasty pint], Titanic 'Plum Porter' [very tasty], Woods 'Shropshire Lad' nice ale], & Goff's Brewery 'White Knight [pleasant pint]. alehippy - 6 Oct 2018 17:31 |
Modern building, smoking terrace at the rear. Staff were friendly, helpful & efficient. Beers I partook of were Wickwar ''Sundowner'' [nice refreshing ale] & Summerskills ''Guzzale [4.6% abv and an excellent beer]. alehippy - 17 Sep 2017 18:12 |
A modern looking Lloyds Number One bar not far from the main shopping area. There are two very large bars. Although be careful - it appears they only serve beers from one room. They had a better range of beers than the nearby Shrewsbury Hotel - Greene King Abbot & Old Speckled Hen, Jennings Sneck Lifter, Salopian Shropshire Gold, Wood Shropshire Lad, RCH East Street and Purity Ubu. There was also one cider - Westons Cider Twist Ginger. It was reasonably busy on our early Saturday lunchtime visit and is worth a punt. blue_scrumpy - 25 Jun 2012 20:04 |

Very well lite, clean pub. Staff are friendly and the food is good. Ales are fantastic, always taste good and they have a great selection. Always recommend this place to my friends. One of the most popular places in the town at night too as I can see when I go out for a few cheeky ones. guitarman33 - 30 Aug 2011 20:59 |
