| Went here for the first time yesterday and will definitely be going back, really lovely cosy pub, very clean with nice décor & friendly atmosphere, we only stayed for 2 drinks as had other plans but had a look at the menu and will be going back again at some point to have lunch there, Bar staff were nice too :-) I imagine with the location it does well with all the office workers. | In response to The Pineapple; What a disgraceful remark! The pub is not open on a weekend because the licensees are homosexual, therefore clearly too busy gallivanting to open the pub for you? How about the pub is in a location that doesn't get any weekend trade and you are a homophobe? Blue Scrumpy, sorry but as a regular at the Lion I seriously doubt you had to wait 10 minutes and got completely ignored. The Lion is a class little pub and the staff are nothing but helpful.
