Splendid interior but please vary your beers. Please. There is more to beer then Tribute! somertel - 7 Feb 2012 22:31 |
Wonderfully idiosyncratic pub. Bar full of Audrey Hepburn and film photographs, Jack Vettriano prints and some terrific books on film, art deco and history. Food was superb and wonderfully presented, staff and landlord were great and the beer was from barrels behind the bar. Wine was equally well presented. This inn/pub is worth going out of your way to go to. Brilliant! StuBrown - 4 Jan 2012 22:48 |
I love a pub with table games and books. Creates a warm and home;y atmousphere. This pub has had awonderful makeover and has a warm and welcoming feel. The lunchtime food was very tastey and well-priced. The Otter and Tribute good. PLenty of other local ales are available on a variety of ocasions. Must come again! Soon. visitor - 2 Jul 2010 09:38 |
Was in on New Years day and it was very warm and welcoming. I had a pint of Otter and a pint of Tribute both of which were very well kept. I also ate the veggie burger ( lovely) and a portion of home made apple pie which was excellent. Worth a visit and has changed for the better since my last visit a few years ago.
