Its Friday at 14.55 and this place is packed. Every table taken and kitchen in fun swing. Every type of customer in, which leads to a superb atmosphere and most importantly my pint of purity gold is excellent and going down really well. trains2064 - 18 Mar 2011 14:59 |
I couldn't work out why Kenilworth needed another bar, but it's so different it really adds something to the town. Decent food, excellent beer and a friendly atmosphere, no matter if you're eating, drinking or (horror of horrors!) just having a coffee. Spot on. Nickando - 4 Jul 2010 12:22 |
Found this place through a friend and I cannot thank her enough! Super place, open plan yet intimate, good atmosphere, comfortable seating, uncluttered, free wi-fi, excellent staff (mostly not of UK origin), excellent range of food and the quality is good. They have a separate area for business meals or meetings that is quite a find too. Parking is easy behind the restaurant in the 'cheap as chips' pay car park. Can have a few children there during the day, but being Kenilworth they seem to be well behaved, so no big issue there! There is also an outside area that overlooks the road if you want to people watch and count the cars. I always review the loos too! They are clean and well maintained. sunriseaura - 2 Jun 2010 17:05 |
Totally agree. Loved it. Went on one of the Jazz & pudding club nights. Invcredible, it was packed (& on a Sunday night!) Live jazz music & some wooden boards with a selection of deserts on them. Possible not ideal for a family at this time but definitely during the day kids would love it. Very open plan & funky. Enjoyed it thoroughly, I will be back! mark_spellman - 27 Mar 2009 23:17 |
Excellant a fantastic New Pub. Located at the bottom of a new housing development in central Kenilworth is a very nice, retro pub/restaurant. Part of the Peach Pub company. Excellant looking menu, Including a differant roast everyday. The walls display lots of Album covers anything from Blonde to Johnny Cash or Elton John to the Clash. The Beers are trendy Lager and draft beers from local Brewery Purity, Gold and UBU. Proper coffees and excellant wine list. Only negative is Beer is a little pricey. All the same a welcome addition to Kenilworth. trains2064 - 18 Nov 2008 20:22 |
