Now being converted to flats. bazbeer - 26 Oct 2014 15:40 |
Was a very good local when Andy was the landlord. Unfortunately it has recently closed, and will shortly be reopening as a swingers' club! I really wish I was joking, but this is the god honest truth. I suspect there won't be any real ales on offer following the reopening! Draugen - 29 Jul 2009 22:06 |
This real ale pub has just been open for a few months and I've only managed to make it in a couple of times but it's already one of my favourites. From memory, It has five real ales and last time I was in it has Barnsley Bitter from the Acorn brewery. It's cosy and clean inside with a small bar directly in front of the entrance and small seating areas to either side. Behind the bar there is another larger area where bands play and there is also a compact terrace outside at the back of the pub. It means that for those in the south-east of Huddersfield there is no need to go all the way into town for a decent choice of real ale. RussH - 1 Oct 2008 21:33 |
